Some notes from the guy putting this together:

First, I would like to apologize for the quality of the pictures.  I am working on getting some clearer scans of the photographs.

Secondly, if you would like to listen to some of the music that was popular that year (1958), there is a jukebox application just below this text.  Maybe it will help to jog your memory, while you are trying to match the names with the faces above.  I was going to post the entire Billboard Top 100 for the year, but while I was listening to some of the tunes, and remembering the eight-grade prom, and remembering listening to the big, clunky AM radio and the huge lift-top wooden 45rpm record player I used to have, I began to feel a little ill.  And then I started remembering standing in front of the mirror at home, trying to teach myself how to dance, and I started feeling a little whoozy...  and, well...  I stopped at the handful you see before you.

Unlike me, Nancy said she wanted to hear more of the old music, so I have removed the jukebox from this page, and installed a more complete version on this other page. Click anywhere on the paragraph to be magically transported.

If you would like to send me a list of who-is-who in the photographs, or make any comments -- even snarky ones -- you can feel free to use this email address:
             sachen44@gmail.com
and I will check there from time to time, if I can remember the password.

Oh!  I almost forgot!  If you receive a warning about "active content" while this page is loading, it is of no concern.  It only has to do with some of the java scripting here.  There is nothing harmful on this page, and you can safely accept/display the content.  It is particularly troublesome for VISTA users, but is definitely not a problem.

Don't forget to listen to some of the horrendous music on this new page.

'Bye.
